MVH
I got to play at Maine Veteran's Home this morning. One of my cellmates, Roy has been volunteering there for 10 years, and he said this was the first time a friend came with him there. We met a lady who was celebrating her 100th birthday last week, and a few others who were singing along to the familiar songs we were playing.
Roy told a Bible story on flannelgraph (ahh, flannelgraph memories!) and took it around to all the people so they could see the characters.
Still trying to clean up/sort out what's happening in the near future, but for the moment, I'm just looking forward to each day as it comes, and each person I get to spend a little more time with. God's good.
